Yolanda Adams Accepts Lady of Soul Award and Gives Soul-Stirring Performance of Hits

Gospel superstar Yolanda Adams received the Lady of Soul Award Sunday, November 17, at the 2019 Soul Train Awards.

The Grammy winner’s career spans decades with multiple Billboard number one albums.

Comically presented by Kirk Franklin, Adams thanked God, her team, family, fans and her daughter for their support and inspiration over the years.

Adams also graced the stage and performed a medley of some of her top hits. From “Victory” to the “In The Midst Of It All,” Adams displayed why she is indeed legendary and a true Lady of Soul.

Prior to hitting the Soul Train stage, Adams sat down with BET and gave a 10 minute vocal lesson. She gave tips on breathing techniques, executing runs, hitting high notes and more. For any vocalist, it’s truly a gem. Check it out below:
