Wendy Williams Faints On Live TV After Overheating

Talkshow host Wendy Williams had a Halloween scare today during a live taping of her show when she fainted after overheating from her costume.

Towards the end of the show, Williams began slurring her words and became dizzy while introducing the show’s annual “How You Doin’? Halloween Costume Contest.” She stumbled back and fell prompting her camera crew to immediately rush to her and the show to cut to commercial.

When the show returned, Williams quickly explained what occurred. “That was not a stunt,” said Williams. “I’m overheated in my costume. I did pass out. But you know what, I’m a champ and I’m back.”

Williams also took to twitter saying she’s fine adding that she “slayed and laid Halloween.”

A rep for Wendy Williams says she is doing well. “Wendy is feeling much better. She overheated because of her heavy costume, makeup, and lights.  She was able to finish the show in true Wendy spirit. She will address the incident on tomorrow’s show.”
