Two teenage boys have died in Maury County, Tennessee, after succumbing to injures caused by a car crashed. According to officials on the scene, one teen was a 17 and a student at Spring Hill High School and the other was 15 and home-schooled.

As reported by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the car went around a curve on Theta Pike next to Starr Farms when it ran off the road into a concrete culvert around 12:20 p.m. The car then flipped and caught fire. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car. Both he and the passenger were killed.

Currently authorities are saying there was no evidence the driver was distracted. They are now looking into whether speed was a factor.

It’s heartbreaking to know two young men have lost their lives. It’s a call no parent, family member, or friend wants to get. Please, always wear your seatbelt when driving. Also keep the family uplifted in your prayers.
