Tracee Ellis Ross’s work in black-ish has been phenomenal. In fact, the entire cast has delivered Emmy and Golden Globe award winning scenes.
This isn’t Ross’s first time being in a beloved television series. For eight years she starred in the hit UPN series Girlfriends. A series that many fans are still waiting for to receive a proper ending. Her and her co-stars work on Girlfriends deserved many awards, but they weren’t all given.
It may have taken her 44 years to get to the stage, but she’s been ready and deserving of the spot for a while.
Congratulations to Tracee Ellis Ross for winning her first Golden Globe.
