One of the most controversial couples on reality television is getting their own show. Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta (LHHATL) have a reality show that is set to premiere in the beginning of 2016. VH1 recently confirmed the show along with a second season of K. Michelle’s reality show.
“In a summer where the film ‘Straight Outta Compton’ went straight to #1, Taylor Swift’s collaboration with Kendrick Lamar topped the Billboard charts and our own “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” ranked as the #1 reality show on cable, hip hop’s dominance of pop culture was confirmed yet again,” said Susan Levison, EVP of Original Programming and Production, VH1. “We’re excited to fuel our audience’s continued fascination with all things hip hop by extending the storylines of some of their favorite “Love & Hip Hop” cast members.”
According to VH1, Stevie J and Joseline head to Los Angeles in VH1’s new untitled series. It will consist of 8 episodes that will follow the couple as they hit the west coast and set their sights on the Hollywood big screen. Joseline tries to bond with Stevie’s five children and Stevie J heads back to the studio and reconnects with old friends in the music industry. It’s sure to bring the drama and the laughs.
