Tamar Braxton Apologizes To Tiny And Initiates Drama With Toya Wright

The social web has been on ten today. Tamar Braxton issued an apology to her longtime BFF Tiny on Instagram while simultaneously initiating another round of drama with her ex-friend Toya Wright.

Braxton was fired from The Real last year, and she’s allegedly ended a few relationships with peers over them appearing on and supporting the talk show.

Last September Wright went on The Real to discuss her brother’s untimely death and her relationship with rapper Lil Wayne. Braxton and Wright allegedly fell out over her appearance.

Wright then released a book in October 2016 that shared details about her relationship with Braxton. In the book she claimed that Braxton blocked her previous attempts of getting on the show.

In the midst of Wright and Braxton’s friendship falling apart, Braxton also fell out with Tiny. Braxton allegedly fell out with the Xscape singer over her promotion of Wright’s appearance on The Real and new book.

Now a couple months ago, Braxton posted a video on Instagram writing, “I wish I had a baby girl.” Tiny’s mother commented on the post saying, “Why don’t you claim your god daughter Heiress. Just because you don’t talk to her mom.” (For clarity: Heiress is Tiny and T.I.’s daughter, and Vince and Tamar are her god-parents. Tiny and T.I. are also Vince and Tamar’s son Logan’s god-parents.)

Now we know that Braxton posted that on Instagram because she lost a daughter while attempting to get pregnant through IVF, but Tiny’s mom didn’t know that.

Fast-forward to the present, Braxton’s son birthday is June 6th, and his god-mother Tiny posted a Happy Birthday message to him.

Tiny’s husband (as of now) T.I. commented on the post above wishing Logan a happy birthday and telling Tiny and Braxton that they need to get it together. “Happy Gday Logan!!!! Growing up into a real polished young gentleman. Aight @majorgirl [Tiny] and @tamarbraxton now y’all both get off y’all diva sh*t and get on ya god mama sh*t. Y’all too damned grown for this sh*t now!!!!”

This prompted Tamar to make her post today in which she extended an apology to Tiny.

Ya know I've been thinking ?although I don't feel like social media is the best place to work out personal issues…sometimes it can be the most effective way to get your love ones attention. I love you guys and Tiny, you…since I was 19 years old. I would have never dreamed that NONE of us would be in this position. Against public perceptions we know it's NOT because of that show or lies that paperback Toya has said or anyone else who has had something to say about the disagreement you and I have had… because it's simply OUR personal disagreement. I love you and all my God babies (all the kids) with all of my heart and you know this. I also love your husband @troubleman31 because he is my family also. How about we ALL sit down and talk and declare our new Love and mutual respect for each other and I'll pay for and sing at your new vowel renewal ceremony. Life is too short and I'm ok with ignoring single, miserable hateful friends who WANT to see you and I at odds and instigating feuds with you and your husband. How about we all come together let it all go and bring you two who were the closest to me and two people who share so much love TOGETHER lean on each other to bring things back together again. ??‍♀️who said it will be easy but Love and forgiveness is easier than being mad and full of hate. So with that all being said @majorgirl I'm sorry for my part in the hurt and want to have my best friend AND her family Including all of our kids and TIP all back together again❤️

While it appears that her intentions were pure, her comment about Wright (paperback Toya) brought on a load of unnecessary drama. Reginae, Toya Wright and Lil Wayne’s daughter, commented on the Braxton’s post saying, “Watch out now!!!!” She then posted the following defending her mother:

After her daughter posted on social media about Braxton’s jab at her, Wright took to Instagram to jab right back. She’s since deleted her post, but The Shade Room put it up before she did. (swipe left)

Even though Braxton’s comment low-key came for Wright, Tiny looked past that and accepted her apology and suggested that she talk it with Wright.

Hopefully everything can be resolved off the web.

*** Toya’s book that talks about her relationship with Tamar is now on sale on her website for ten dollars. The promo word is paperback.
