Samuel L. Jackson’s Voice is Coming to Alexa

Soon you’ll be able to enable Samuel L. Jackson’s voice on your Alexa with swearing and all.

Jackson’s voice will be available thanks to a new set of technology announced by Amazon on Wednesday, neural text to speech.

According to Amazon’s David Limp, Jackson will be the first of many celebrities whose voices will be available on Alexa. More voices will reportedly be added to the platform in 2020.

Alexa owners will be able to enable Jackson’s voice for .99 cents. According to a report on Geek Wire, it will only start at .99 cents for a short time before jumping up to $4.99. They’ll also be able to choose if they want the explicit or non-explicit version of the actor’s voice.

In addition to adding celebrity voices, Amazon will also be rolling multilingual versions of Alexa’s voice beginning with English and Spanish in America, English and French in Canada and English and Hindi in India.

Maybe Jackson’s voice will cuss at you in English and Spanish.
