Rose McGowan Says Agent Dropped Her for Criticizing the “Bullsh*t” in Hollywood

Rose McGowan

Last week Rose McGowan took to twitter to express her dislike of a casting note she received from a movie starring a known Hollywood actor. Here’s the tweet: (the top part is the casting note)

This week she confirmed to E! that she was talking about Adam Sandler. In hindsight, McGowan says, “It was just so dumb. I was offended by the stupidity more than anything. I was offended by the fact that went through so many people’s hands and nobody red flagged it. This is normal to so many people. It was probably even a girl that had to type it up. It’s institutionally OK.”

The Charmed actress said she wasn’t trying vilify Sandler, but she clearly thought the casting note was dumb. Yesterday she got back on twitter saying that she and her representation split ways because of her comments on the casting note.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, McGowan had been repped by Sheila Wenzel and Steve Muller at Innovative Artists. THR confirmed that Wenzel is no longer with the agency, although McGowan tweeted that Wenzel parted ways with Innovative before McGowan was dropped.

Hey Rose! Any chance we’ll get a Charmed reunion?
