PUMA’s First Collection from Collaboration with Nipsey Hussle Drops in September

The first items from the late rapper Nipsey Hussle’s collaboration with PUMA will arrive soon.

Hussle announced his partnership with PUMA and his clothing store Marathon a few weeks before being fatally shot outside of the store in March.

In May, Adam Petrick, PUMA’s global director of brand and marketing, revealed that the company would proceed with posthumously releasing items from its collaboration with the rapper.

Now the first items have a release date.

In a post on Instagram, a representative from the Marathon team revealed that Hussle’s signature would be included in each piece of the forthcoming collection.

“Nipsey spearheaded this project from concept to final product over the course of last year, flying to meetings, reviewing samples, bringing in material references he liked, and most importantly ensuring that it reflected his style authentically with no compromise,” wrote a representative of the team.

“Each detail from logo placement, fit, colorways, and materials was thoughtfully done. His signature style and DNA can be found in each garment that’s part of this collection from the khaki suit to the tracksuit.”

The first collection from Hussle, The Marathon Clothing and PUMA is due out September 5th. More details about the collection are expected as the release date gets closer.
