Mike Huckabee appeared on The View with Michelle Williams and she confronted him about his comments on Beyonce. Check the clip out below:
Huckabee stated that he didn’t understand the uproar to what he wrote about Beyoncé in his book. Here’s what he wrote:
“Beyonce is incredibly talented – gifted, in fact. She has an exceptional set of pipes and can actually sing,” Huckabee writes. “She is a terrific dancer – without the explicit moves best left for the privacy of her bedroom. Jay-Z is a very shrewd businessman, but I wonder: Does it occur to him that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?” (Jezebel)
Huckabee basically said Jay-Z was pimp and Beyoncé was his hoe. I think we can all agree that Michelle respectfully confronted him, and she had every right to do so. Mr. Huckabee is always making sly comments, and a lot of people on social media feel like Michelle should’ve said more.
Way to stick up for your girl with dignity Michelle. I hope the next time you’re trending it’s for the release of your new music :)!
