Michelle Obama Scores First Grammy Nomination for Becoming Audiobook

Our Forever First Lady Michelle Obama is a 2020 Grammy nominee.

Obama received her first Grammy nomination for the audio version of her bestselling memoir Becoming in the best spoken word album category.

Earlier this week Obama celebrated the one year anniversary of her book at Politics and Prose Bookstore in DC and also launched an accompanying journal.

If she wins, she’ll join her husband former president Barack Obama as a Grammy winner. He’s won two Grammys in the same category in 2006 Dreams From My Father for and 2008 The Audacity Of Hope.

Congratulations Michelle Obama! — The 2020 Grammys, hosted by Alicia Keys, airs January 26 on CBS.
