Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé’s ‘Savage’ Jumps to No. 1 on Hot 100

Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé have earned the coveted No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their viral hit “Savage.”

After originally competing against Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj’s “Say So” and landing at No. 2 then sliding to No. 5, the song has soared to No. 1.

It marks Megan’s first No. 1 on the chart and Beyoncé’s 7th – 11th if you include No. 1’s with Destiny’s Child.

Megan originally released “Savage” on her EP Suga in March. The song saw great gains from its official remix with Beyoncé earning Bey credit on the chart.

All of the artists’ proceeds from the single are supporting COVID-19 relief efforts in Houston which earned Megan and Beyoncé their own respective days in their hometown.
