Loretta Devine to Recur in Season 6 of black-ish

Emmy Award-winning actress Loretta Devine has landed a recurring role on the sixth season of ABC’s hit series black-ish.

According to Deadline, Pops (Laurence Fishburne) will be surprising everyone in the season when he introduces Lynette, played by Devine, as his new fiancée.

The introduction is sure to produce some comical scenes between Pops, Lynette and Ruby, Pops ex-wife portrayed by Jenifer Lewis.

Devine currently stars in Netflix’s comedy Family Reunion alongside Tia Mowry. She was recently tapped to recur in Starz’s upcoming drama series P-Valley and Devine in the forthcoming feature Never Too Late.

black-ish returns on Tuesday, September 24 at 9:30pm ET on ABC. Congratulations Loretta Devine!
