Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond ‘The Healing’ Verzuz Set for Sunday

Gospel greats and musical giants Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond are the next entertainers up for a Verzuz match.

The artists are going live Sunday, May 31, at 5 pm EST for a special edition of the Swizz Beatz and Timbaland produced competition, The Healing Verzuz.

Verzuz TV announced the matchup Thursday utilizing a timely song shared by artist Keedron Bryant with a beat added by Grammy-winning producer Dem Jointz.

The match will open with a special word Bishop T.D. Jakes.

The Healing Verzuz will likely serve as a safe, digital space to feel seen, heard, justified and comforted in the expanding trauma brought on from Black lives continuously being lost to systemic racism and racist whites.

Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond’s Verzuz will be live on Instagram on @VerzuzTV.
