Keke Palmer Joins Third Hour of GMA as Co-Host

Keke Palmer is officially a co-host of Good Morning America’s third hour.

ABC announced on Monday that it’s adding Palmer as a co-host on Strahan & Sara, and that the GMA spinoff will now be titled GMA3: Strahan, Sara & Keke.

Palmer began guest co-hosting GMA’s third hour in early June. She was brought in for the summer to fill in for co-host Sara Haines who was going on maternity leave, and the energy with Palmer has been electric since she began.

In July, reports rung out that the network was looking to make her a permanent co-host on the series, and now it’s a done deal.

“It’s been a blast having Keke co-host this summer. She brings a unique and spontaneous energy viewers love,” said Rory Albanese, the program’s executive producer, in a statement. “She’s a multi-talented artist, and I’m thrilled to have her join Michael and Sara every day.”

Palmer celebrated the news on social media reminiscing on her journey with Disney.

Today is also Palmer’s 26th birthday, so it makes the announcement all the more special. She shared a celebratory post about her day joining in on the viral #DMXChallenge.

Happy Birthday and Congratulations to Keke Palmer!
