Jada Pinkett Smith confirmed with ET that rapper T.I. will appear on Red Table Talk.
He will reportedly be addressing his controversial comments about having a doctor inspect his daughter Deyjah Harris’ hymen to ensure her virginity.
“My next big guest is Tip. T.I. is coming to the table. Yes indeed,” Pinkett Smith revealed to ET while on the red carpet for a screening of Hala. “And of course, he’s going to address the controversy that has been swirling.”
T.I. received a lot of backlash after revealing he and Deyjah take yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen on the Ladies Like Us podcast.

“We just shot that [episode of Red Table Talk] today,” Pinkett Smith continued. “And then he and [his wife] Tiny sit down and talk about how they survived, in regards to their marriage. So that will be next Monday.”
After his comments went viral, Deyjah unfollowed her father on social media and recently deactivated all her social accounts.
Based on the guests Pinkett Smith mentioned, it doesn’t seem that Deyjah will be apart of the conversation. As she is the person whose privacy has been violated publicly and privately, some social users have expressed they’re uninterested in hearing T.I. rehash his comments.
Why not invite his daughter instead? You know, the one actually affected by all this…

And if she doesn’t want to talk about it (which is VERY understandable), then perhaps don’t speak on it at all? Bc all this is doing is giving him and his nasty agenda a platform.
It’ll be interesting to see if T.I. is sincerely apologizing and acknowledging that a hymen (intact or not) can’t determine virginity or if he’s standing strong on his original stance.
His episode of Red Table Talk is slated to be released this upcoming Monday.
