Charlamagne Tha God’s Wife Says He Didn’t Rape Her on Air

Less than two weeks ago Charlamagne Tha God was denying allegations from a 17-year-old rape case, and now he’s back in the hot seat for two audio clips that have recently resurfaced with him unfavorably discussing rape culture.

In one of the clips, The Breakfast Club co-host discusses getting a woman drunk and having sex with her while she was incoherent. The clip was floating under the radar until the self love ambassador Derrick Jaxn shared it questioning why no one else was discussing it.

In the second clip, Charlamagne talks about whether he raped his wife the first time they had sex. He admits she was drunk, but says she was participatory during intercourse.

This morning on The Breakfast Club, DJ Envy decided to phone Charlamagne’s wife, Jessica Gadsden, to clear up one of the clips.

Gadsden says Charlamagne did not rape her and that she was coherent enough to engage in sex their first time. Check out the conversation below:

There seems to be a mixed social reception to Gadsden clearing her husband’s name. Tweets and comments under the uploaded video suggest this wasn’t the allegation people wanted Charlamagne to address; however, there are some social users saying this is just an effort to bring Charlamagne down.
