Black Girls Rock’ Lethal Combination: Lalah Hathaway, Faith Evans, & Fantasia (video here)

Black Girls Rock aired tonight (Sunday, April 5, 2015) on BET and Centric. It was hosted by Regina King and Tracee Ellis Ross. Arguably, the best performance of the show was by an outstanding trio. Black Girls Rock shut it down when they brought out Lalah Hathaway, Faith Evans, and Fantasia back to back to back.

Lalah Hathaway started the lethal combination off with her “oh so smooth” vocals. She sings like moving water. It makes no sense.

Before we could recover from that smooth sailing, Faith Evans came out blazing her rendition of J. Cole’s “Be Free”. The power that she brought to the song laid us out.

Then before we could even stand back up, Fantasia opened up her mouth snatchin’ edges and saving souls LOL! Tasia took the entire room to church with her stage shattering performance of “Mary Don’t You Weep.” What an honor it is to get to the First Lady on her feet.

We are sure that this will be on iTunes ASAP. Just incase you missed it, here is the Mind Blowing Performance by these beautiful ladies that has been termed the “Pillars of Justice Medley”: (low picture, good sound)

Sidenote: You betta’ walk out Fantasia! Tell us what you guys thought.
