Former RHOA Star Apollo Nida Re-Released From Prison

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta Star and Phaedra Park’s ex-husband Apollo Nida has reportedly been re-released from prison into a halfway house.

Nida was previously released from the Fort Dix Correctional Facility in New Jersey, and moved to a halfway house on June 4, 2019. Nine days after being released, Nida violated a condition of his release and was sent back to prison.

Now, according to Radar Online, Nida has been placed in a Philadelphia-area halfway house.

In 2014, Nida received an eight-year sentence after pleading guilty to bank fraud. According to AJC, his crimes included bank, mail and wire fraud and ID theft of more than 50 individuals to the tune of an estimated $2 million.

Nida’s newest release date was October 15, but as The Blast reports, Federal Bureau of Prisons records now indicate his release date is November 26.

Once Apollo Nida completes his time, he will be able to marry his fiancée Sherien Almuft, who he proposed to in 2016 behind bars.
