Adrienne Bailon revealed to the audience at The Real and all of her fans that her engagement to Lenny Santiago has officially been called off.

Adrienne dated Lenny for over 6 years, and they were engaged for 7 months. The former Cheetah Girl and 3LW member said she didn’t announce their breakup on The Real Premiere because she didn’t want to “damper” the mood. She exclaimed how much of a blessing it is to be back.

“I know that a lot of you guys have been asking me, whether it has been on Instagram or other social media: Where is your ring? Are you still engaged?” said Adrienne. “It’s been a very hard decision for me to make. … During this summer, I went on my little Eat Pray Love journey, and it was a time for me to come to my own truth and my honesty. I am not engaged anymore.”

It’s sad that the relationship didn’t pan out as she intended, but it’s empowering that she was able to stand in her own truth. It seems that Adrienne has learned how to unapologetically live her life which is something we can all aspire after.
