10 Things You Need to Know About the iPhone 7

The iPhone 7 was announced on Wednesday, September 7th during Apple’s yearly September event. Along with the iPhone 7, Apple also announced the second iWatch.

The iPhone will come in two brand new colors, and the storage sizes have been upgraded to 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

Below are a list of 10 essential things to know about the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus.

1 – Color Upgrades

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Black, and Jet Black. (Jet Black will only be available with iPhone 128GB and 256GB).

2 – Home Button Upgrades

The home button powered by a taptic engine will be touch sensitive.

3 – Now Water Resistant

God is good! The new iPhone will be water resistant.

4 – Camera Upgrades

The camera received several upgrades. It will feature optical image stabilization, a six-element lens, 12 megapixel sensor. The iPhone 7 Plus camera will also feature a dual lens (with incredible zoom features).

The iPhone will feature stereo speakers and produce twice the volume.

7 – Ear Pods

The audio jack has been removed from the iPhone, but Apple isn’t completely leaving wired headphones. The new headphones will now connect via lighting. Apple will also be supplying an adapter with the purchase of an iPhone, so that all your old headphones will still work.

8 – Wireless Capabilities

The iPhone 7 (which will operate on iOS 10) will have new wireless capabilities to go along with the launch of Air Pods, a new wireless headphone experience.

The new iPhone will be available for pre-order on Friday, September 9th and will officially become available on Friday, September 16th.
