Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson Both Receive Emmy Nods Again

Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson were both nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series last year, and this year they have both earned nominations again. They star in How To Get Away With Murder and Empire respectively. Viola Davis took the Emmy last year with an epic speech.

Viola Davis was the first African-American woman to win an Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Will Henson be the second? The other ladies nominated are Claire Danes for Homeland, Tatiana Mislay for Orphan Black, Keri Russell for The Americans, and Robin Wright for House of Cards.

Both of these ladies deserve all the awards thrown at them for their epic performances in their respective shows. They’ve both been in the game along time and are finely getting the shine they deserve! Do you think the Emmy win will be between these two ladies?

Congratulations to Davis and Henson!
