Earlier today I posted about Tamar Braxton allegedly being fired from The Real, and while I don’t know if she was fired, an official statement regarding the issue has been released. It has been confirmed that Tamar Braxton will not be returning to The Real for its third season.
The Real released this statement: “THE REAL and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with THE REAL appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
Their statement seems modest, but Tamar’s post makes this seem extremely watered down. Tamar said she was stabbed in the back by someone she trusted. That doesn’t seem like she left to concentrate on her solo career. That doesn’t even add up seeing as Tamar operates in other areas where she doesn’t work by herself like Braxton Family Values. Only time will tell.
None of the other cohosts have commented on Tamar’s exit as of now. The ladies were all just out celebrating their Emmy nominations, so a fallout so fast seems very suspicious.
Well it’s not speculation anymore. Unfortunately, each lady left at the table is going to have to address it to keep the show’s authenticity. Hopefully like the title of the show, they will keep it Real.
