President Obama Responds to Louisiana and Minnesota Shooting

President Barack Obama has broken his silence on the shootings that killed Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

Sterline and Castile were both shot by policeman. Both of their incidents were caught on camera in some form. Sterile and Castile unfortunately both died from their injuries.

A big question is if these situations could’ve been handled differently? Was race a huge part of their deaths?

Castile’s mom is outraged and says the people have viewed the her son’s video should be too. She believes that Black people are being hunted.

President Obama believes that all Americans should be deeply troubled by the recent shootings. He also acknowledges that there are racial disparities in the justice system. Read President Obama’s entire response below:
