Pennsylvania Supreme Court Orders Release of Meek Mill

Meek Mill is officially heading home. The rapper is expected to be released from prison shortly following the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordering his immediate release on unsecured bail.

In November the rapper was sentenced to two to four years in prison after violating a roughly decade long probation.

His sentence sparked a national protest not only for his release, but also for reform to the system that allowed him to be locked up.

In a statement, Mill thanked his supporters and said he plans to use his platform to shine light on other injustices.
