The wait may be over. According to the New York Times, Frank Ocean’s highly sought after sophomore project, Boys Don’t Cry, is slated to drop this Friday exclusively to Apple Music. It will stream on Apple Music for two weeks before becoming available to other major music platforms.
Ocean’s first project, the Grammy winning Channel Orange, instantly made him a household name (even though a lot of fans were rocking before). Millions have been waiting on his next release. The wait has been eased with a few features, but a new album is what fans want.
The New York Times reportedly received an exclusive from someone apart of the deal. Ocean will reportedly be releasing one video along with Boys Don’t Cry. Knowing his story, the album title seems perfect. Let it be clear that this still isn’t confirmed, so don’t come for Frank if his album doesn’t drop this Friday.
