Fantasia’s forthcoming album Sketchbook will feature the long awaited collaboration between the rock soul artist, Brandy and Jazmine Sullivan.
The Grammy award winning artist confirmed the news recently while on Instagram live with her fan page @Team_Fantasia.
Fans have been awaiting this song for a few years now. The speculation began in 2016 after Brandy shared a post saying Jazmine Sullivan and Fantasia were her “faves.” Afterwards, Fantasia tagged Sullivan and Brandy in a now deleted post saying, “Let’s give the people this song.”
Their posts allegedly weren’t meant to announce they were doing a song, but the wheels had already began to turn.
Brandy teased fans again in 2017 that the song was coming.
But now it is real, official and coming soon.
Grammy-nominated artist Tamar Braxton believes this collab should result in a tour, and I’d be inclined to agree.
As aforementioned, the song will be on her Fantasia’s upcoming LP. Sketchbook will also see Fantasia collaborating with Meghan Trainor and T-Pain.
Fantasia has already released a single, “Enough,” from Sketchbook. According to Rated R&B, the song is moving steadily up the charts and is currently No. 15 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs and Urban Adult Contemporary Radio charts.
Sketchbook is expected to be released later this year. And with it, some songs sure to go down in history.
