Destiny’s Child Rumored to Reunite at Coachella

Beyoncé is rumored to be reuniting with her former chart topping group Destiny’s Child during her 2018 Coachella set.

According to Page Six, a music insider said that the reunion is a go.

“Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child are reuniting,” claims the source. “It was teased, rumored, squashed, so nothing much else was said . . . But it’s happening. The girls really wanted it and felt they owed it to the fans.”

The insider also added that the reunion is “to make up for the fact she was unable to perform last year.”

Beyoncé was originally locked in to headline 2017’s Coachella, but after announcing her pregnancy with Rumi and Sir, her set was moved to this year.

Destiny’s Child most recent reunion was three years ago with Michelle Williams at the 2015 Stellar Awards to perform her hit single “Say Yes.”  They also reunited for Beyoncé’s epic 2013 Super Bowl set.

It appears to be a sure thing that Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will be reuniting with Beyoncé at Coachella, but there are speculations that DC4 members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson will also be joining in on the fun.

Recently Roberson shared a picture with the original members of Destiny’s Child sparking thoughts that a reunion was in the works.

While this would reunion would indeed be everything, it may not be feasible for Luckett to join the girls at Coachella.

Luckett is currently touring with the play remake of Set It Off. The play has a performance tonight at 8pm CT in Chicago, and Beyoncé’s set begins at 11:10pm PT.

However, you can never say never when Beyoncé is involved. Tonight is sure to go down in the entertainment history books.

You can live stream Beyoncé’s performance to see if Destiny’s Child reunites tonight at 2:10am ET/11:10pm PT here.
