Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart

Cardi B is having the time of her life. She’s had successful single after single. She announced on Saturday Night Live that she’s expecting her first child. And now her first album Invasion of Privacy has debuted number one on the Billboard 200 Chart.

According to Nielsen Music, Invasion of Privacy, released on April 6th, earned 255,000 equivalent album units in the week ending on April 12. Her album is the second-biggest week overall for an album in 2018 behind Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods and the biggest streaming week ever for a debut studio album.

Cardi is also the fifth female rapper to top Billboard’s Top 200 Chart.

She’s definitely etching her way into history, and her reign has just began. The Bronx native is performing at this year’s Coachella and gearing up to go on tour with Bruno Mars. Nothing is getting in her way.

It’s your season. Congratulations Cardi B!
