Boris Kodjoe Joins Season 2 of Grey’s Anatomy Spinoff Station 19

Right off of his run on CBS’ Code Black, Boris Kodjoe has secured a recurring role on the second season of ABC’s Station 19.

Executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, and showrunner Stacy McKee, the Seattle set series follows a group of heroic men and women firefighters.

According to Deadline, Kodjoe will play a seasoned firefighter with a mysterious past. His character is returning to Seattle FD after some time away, bringing with him new skills, new perspectives and an approach to the job that doesn’t always fall in line with the members of Station 19.

Aside from Code Black, Kodjoe has previously starred in The Last Man on Earth, Real Husbands of Hollywood and the beloved Showtime series Soulfood.

The Grey’s Anatomy spinoff’s second season doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but it will premiere in the fall. Congratulations Boris!
